To support a major business transformation, NRG went live with S/4HANA in January 2020. Part of its vision to become a next-generation energy supplier includes optimizing its operations and financial accounting strategy. NRG selected an S/4HANA add-on for Extended Asset Accounting (formerly known as Property and Lease Accounting) because it leverages the real-time general ledger and enables the complete capitalization process to happen in S/4.
This presentation will provide an overview of NRG’s transformational initiative, the advantages of moving to SAP S/4HANA, as well as how the company is leveraging the combined power of S/4HANA and the innovative add-on technology to streamline financial accounting processes in new ways.
